I’m shocked a teammate with a ton of thoughts and ideas and certainly great athletic ability he’ll be remembered and missed more importantly

So sorry to hear of Kevin's passing! Kevin was such a great guy in high school! I am so sad that I moved away after college and we lost touch.

He always had such a positive attitude. Treated me like a star when we would get together. I can still hear him say "How's the kegling going!" Even though he was a stud athlete he was always so humble.

Kevin you will be missed! May you rest in piece!

Love,
Joe Stevens

We have lost a man of honor and integrity, and a darn fun guy. I feel so blessed for the time Kevin was in my life. He made a mark on my entire family for which I will always be grateful.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Keith, Diane, Chris, the rest of Kevin's extended family and his lifelong friends.

To Keith, Diane and Chris we offer our prayers and deepest sympathies. Losing Kevin as a friend is not easy, losing him as a sibling has to be almost unbearable. Everything you and others did to honor him was absolutely perfect, job extraordinarily well done, there is no doubt he would have been so proud and maybe even a bit surprised at the out pouring of love shown to him these last few days.
To Kevin, it's so very hard to imagine we won't be blessed with your wit, laughter and bear hugs any more, how we wish we could have just one more opportunity to laugh at your extraordinary wit and one more bear hug, you will be missed my friend.

To Keith and family,
What a heartbreaking loss. On behalf of my family, we were blessed to know Kevin and many of his siblings. I knew Kevin and Keith since elementary school days and have great memories of them as SSHS athletes, classmates and buddies.
Gone too soon; his light and presence live on. Peace.

Keith
I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Kevin. I've thought about you and Kevin many times over the years since I met you both as a 13 year old playing Babe Ruth baseball and growing up in another town. The memory and experience of that time in my life was incredible. Even though we've been separated by many years and miles, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your brother Kevin had an incredible life, touching many peoples lives along the way.
Kevin will always be with you, God Bless him always.

Loving prayers going out to the entire Cummings family and friends on Kevin's passing. Brian met the Cummings twins in cub scouts and developed a life long friendship through their love of sports and good times together. We are thankful to Kevin for introducing us in Hartford. Kevin is up in heaven with Brian's brother, Pete Dickens, enjoying a cold one. May the joy of a life well lived sustain you all in this time of sadness.

My condolences to Kevin´s family and friends. I remember playing sports against Kevin and how dominant he was. I also remember in a little league game getting hit by a pitch Kevin threw and how he checked several times to see if I was ok. I think I still have the mark 50 years latter. He was as good a person as he was an athlete. Rest In Peace Kevin

To Keith and the entire family, please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Kevin. I didn't know him real well but I remember in the days of The Hub softball team whenever Kevin came into town he was revered and welcomed by all, and at the after parties the stories would flow about high school and college sports accomplishments, and who the better athletes were in Saratoga. Needless to say Kevin was very much respected in any of those discussions. This may be inappropriate here, but it my make someone smile - the high lite of the night was topped off by watching the twin towers chug 2 beers each (Heinekens?) at once. We had a lot of fun back then. Keith, I hope you are well, and I am so sorry. I'm sure the good memories will help you and your family get through the difficult times that may lie ahead.
Condolences with warm regards,
Frank Toma

I have so many wonderful memories of Kevin from the short time I worked with him. I started as his intern and he “fired” me more times than I can count. He loved everything printed out and while his office looked chaotic he knew exactly where everything was. He’d always make sure his under the breath comments were loud enough that I could hear him from my cubicle so we could laugh together. I miss his big personality and will continue to share my fond memories of him.

Dear Keith, Cummings family, and many friends of Kevin-
It is hard to imagine Kevin gone, he always seemed so larger than life. It has been a very long time since I have seen him, but images of his presence in the world are so easily envisaged, and so beautifully described in his obituary. To me Kevin always presented with kindness, confidence, and particularly with generosity of thought and spirit. Always one to reach out to make everyone feel noticed, included and important to the plan... My deepest condolences to those closest to him throughout these many years, his loss I´m certain is overwhelming. May warm memories of his life, smile, and laughter carry on.

I had the privilege of going to school with Kevin - what a great guy and a tremendous athlete - he made the Class of '74 proud. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We have lost a terrific person.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Kevin for 26 years here at Disney. I was there the day he was hired and the day he retired. He had so much passion for getting the details right. Whether it was on Saratoga springs DVC or the 4 cruise ships he built-he wanted to make sure the details were accurate. He was a true leader here at Disney. He left his mark on so many projects here on property and around the world.

As I am mulling over retirement he gave me great insight and clarity on how happy he was after retiring. He was like a brother to me. I miss him dearly.

I’m a believer in the Lord so I know I will see him again in heaven. I’m sure he’s playing golf with Arnold Palmer and taking his money. Probably is watching Secretariat run tracks up in heaven too. Miss you Bro. Bill Hanus.

My condolences to Kevin’s friends and family. I was lucky enough to work for and mentor under Kevin at the sunset of his career at Disney. No one brought more laughs or real world experience to the project team. “Boxes are for shoes”. You will forever be missed.

Dear Keith, Diane and Chris,
I have so many wonderful memories of Kevin. Having grown up together and the closeness of our families, I will always remember our family get-togethers, and how loved you were, Kevin.
I remember Aunt Ruth was always so proud of the twins and their accomplishments. Going through high school together, with my very popular twin cousins, who I knew always had my back, was a very special time in my life. I am truly heartbroken.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Kevin. Kevin along with brother Keith are not just Hall of Fame athletes but Hall of Fame people. In a time when life was much simpler in the late 1960's and early 70's the Cummings twins dominated the local sports scene. In my mind I always viewed Kevin as one of the greatest all - around athletes in the history of Saratoga Springs. Everybody knew Keith and Kevin not just as athletes but guys who were approachable and larger then life personalities. I will miss not seeing Kevin and talking sports and life in general. I will also miss not seeing Kevin at a Saints hoop or baseball game this winter / spring with Keith and Joey. I know you will be around though in spirit my friend...RIP Kevin you will be missed by many...God Bless... Thoughts and prayers to Keith and the entire Cummings family....

We are saddened by the news of Kevin's passing. As his next-door neighbors, we very much enjoyed talking with him about anything from Disney to sports (especially having to do with UMass or LSU!) to Saratoga Springs. We will miss our impromptu conversations and miss seeing him walking around the neighborhood. We will remember his laughter and big personality. Our hearts go out to Kevin's family.

Kevin will be missed. I know he is from Saratoga Springs, but he was the unofficial Mayor of Pimlico Race Course. When he would come into town for the Preakness, he was the star of the show. One of the funniest human beings on the planet. He had a personality and smile that was as wide as the Finish Line.

Cummings Family,
I am so sorry about the death of Kevin. I graduated with John. I knew Shelley and David. As a Saratoga High fan, I watched the twins play sports. Kevin will be missed and I am praying for your family. What a wonderful obit. It shows how much he lived in his shortened life. Those memories will comfort you in your grief and love always remains.

Kevin was both a friend and associate at Koala Inns. His close friend Dave Croasdale worked there also. His presence was larger than life and he was respected by all. I was happy to introduce him to Disney through another close friend Joe Wood. Kevin always gave more than he took. Just a great guy and we are all better for having known him.

I had the pleasure of coaching Kevin in the Saratoga Babe Ruth Baseball League many years ago. Kevin was 15, and he and Keith were good friends with my brother Mike. He was a great player and leader even then. With his talent, hard work, and that out-going personality of his, it was not surprising at all to me that he had such success in sports at SHS and beyond, and a great, rewarding career at Disney.
R.I.P. Kevin. You were a special person. My thoughts are with Keith, Diane, Christopher, and Darla.

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin on several Disney projects including Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. This project deeply resonated with Kevin as a native son and his deep love for his hometown. He knew so many details to add richness and authenticity. There is a photo of Kevin and his brother’s baseball team in the Turf Club Lounge there. My condolences on the loss of this very genuine person.

To the entire Cummings family I offer my condolences on the loss of your brother. I have very fond memories of Kevin and Keith during the days of umpiring Little League games at the east side rec and never being able to tell Kevin and Keith apart. I always hoped they never switched jerseys because I wouldn’t be able to tell. Kevin certainly lived a busy and productive life. It ended far too early but he certainly left his mark on his community and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. RIP Kevin. I bid the entire Cummings family peace.

How can you put into words the loss of someone like Kevinas beautifully stated in his obituary, above all else he was a beautiful person to all he met. We became fast friends in kindergarten at the one room school house at “the rec” and continued the next 60 years! I can hear him yelling down the halls of SSHS “EWING!” with his larger than life smile. There will forever be a void in Saratoga for all of us. May family and friends find some comfort in the endless memories our time with Kevin gave us. Rest In Peace, Kev.
