I have been trying to locate Kevin for a number of years. Unfortunately, I just found his name on the internet concerning his passing. I was in the Marine Corps with Kevin in Miami and close friends during our two years together.

I wanted to apologize to Kevin for showing up in Jackson Heights intoxitated. I lived in NJ at that time.

I have been sober in AA since December 20, 1969.

I considered Kevin to be one of my closest friends in the Corps. Surprisingly, he commented to his brother Gene in 1955 when he was visiting with his new 1955 Buick that Jack does not drink much. I didn't at the time and it just snuck up on me.

I am very proud to have known Kevin and his successes in life, particularly for his contributions to society.

I will look at home to see if I can find some pictures of him while we were in Miami.

My deepest condolences to his wife and daughters.

If a family member could get in touch with me if would be greatly appreciated.

Mrs. Langan, Tichie, Mary Beth, and family,

We are sorry for your loss. Mr. Langan was such a warm and caring guy, always with a quick smile, always with a generous heart. And it was clear within minutes of meeting him how much he loved all of his girls and the awed joy he had being around his grandkids. And he and I always had a quick laugh when he'd come to school to see his grandkids - mostly because I would tell him I knew which kids he was there to visit but couldn't remember his name. The happiness he had with those he loved was such a blessing to see.

You are all in my prayers.

Mrs. Langan and Family,
I had the privilege of meeting Kevin at UHY Advisors, but mostly from Historic St. Mary's 12:05 Mass. I met up with him there often and saw that great love he has for Jesus Christ. I missed him yesterday as Ashes were given out. I knew he would of been there however, he was with God just living a different life.

Peace to you all,

Mr. Langan touched everyone around him at one point or another.
His joy for life transmitted where ever he went. In some of the stories he told me, he said to enjoy the simple things in life, those are the things you will remember the most. He was absolutely right. Because we will never forget him.

To the Langan Family,
I am truly saddened to hear of Mr. Langan’s passing.
My first meeting with him was on a flight back from a Porsche meeting in 2000. We had 5 hours to talk and we “connected” right away as we had much in common, my father was a VW manager in the 60’s, we were both from Queens/LI, we attended great Catholic Universities and have 5 great children.
If we all could achieve half of what Mr. Langan accomplished in his lifetime the world would be much better.
He was a true gentleman.
God Bless the Langan Family and may Mr. Langan Rest in Peace.
Regards, Bill Lundy

I work for Mr. Langan at Northway Toyota. He was a man I looked up to. He knew how to make you feel that you mattered to him as an employee. This made you want to do your best for him. He is a rare and exceptional businessman that knew in his heart that the way to make a business work was to not only worry about the bottom line, but, also to know that people, both customers and employees, made the bottom line grow. He knew that business was about people as well as money. He shared his good fortune with so many others and knew that it was important to sow as well as to reap. He also knew that there was a greater force that was watching us all. He will truly be missed by myself and by many others, but, we can all remember his example as a truly exceptional man.
