Lee Bentley Obituary

Bentley, Mr. Lee Roy WINDER, Ga. Mr. Lee Roy Bentley, age 67 of Winder, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. Mr. Bentley was born on February 20, 1953, in Albany to Wesley and Ida Sutton Bentley. He lived a full life during his time on Earth. He worked for over 30 years in the roofing industry before working in the mortgage business in his last few years before retiring. His job brought him all over the United States, and those who knew him were hard pressed to find a place he'd never been. Though his travels were extensive, his heart remained in northern New York, which is where his ashes will be spread. Mr. Bentley was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Ida Bentley; brothers, Harry Bentley and Alan Bentley; and his sisters, Joan Bentley Nolan and Dorothy Bentley Bergerson. On this Earth he leaves behind two sisters, Francis Bentley and Pauline Bentley; a brother, Wesley Bentley; as well as his faithful companion of 20 years, Marlana Martin; and their daughter, Stephanie Martin. Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542 is in charge of arrangements. Send on-line condolences to www.memorialparkfuneralhomes.com.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Lee as a teenager and very early twenties, a good guy.
