Sharp, Linda Farrell NORTH GREENBUSH Linda Farrell Sharp, 75, of Drake Way, died Sunday, November 26, 2017, at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, after a long illness. Born in Portland, Conn., she was the daughter of the late Paul Farrell and Marion Mahoney Farrell; and wife for 50 years of Howard Gates Sharp. She had resided in Bellville and Washington Township, N.J., until the mid-90's when she moved to Wynantskill and was a 1960 graduate of Troy High School. Mrs. Sharp was a secretary for the dean of continuing education at Hudson Valley Community College for several years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and walking and was a EMT lieutenant in Washington Township, and a member of the YWCA in East Greenbush. Survivors in addition to her husband, include two sons, Kevin Sharp, Wynantskill and Brian (Brooke) Sharp, Florida; a stepson, Howard Sharp Jr., Averill Park; a stepdaughter, Diane Bowen, Newburyport, Mass.; and three grandchildren, Brian and Brendon Sharp and Evan Bowen. Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 4392 NY-150, West Sand Lake, on Saturday, December 2, from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Reverend Michael Gorchov, Rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating.
