Loretta Lauer Obituary

EAST GREENBUSH Loretta Hilton (Marks) Lauer, 95, of East Greenbush, died Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the Whitehouse Home for Adults in East Greenbush. Born in Albany, she had been a resident of the Capital Region for many years and was a homemaker. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mabel (Warner) Hilton; her husbands, Anthony Marks and Charles P. Lauer; sisters, Margaret Lawton, Evelyn Dalton, Kathleen Rose, Ann Mae Lauer and Helen Brown; two brothers, William and John Hilton. She is survived by a son, John A. Marks of San Angelo, Texas; one brother, Roland Hilton of East Greenbush; six grandchildren, Jon, Gale, Wayne, Barry, Mary T. and Susan; 15 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday, September 20, 2005 9:00 a.m. from Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer and 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary Clinton Heights where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated. Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush, N.Y. The family has requested that those who wish to remember Loretta make contributions to American Diabetes Association Inc., Capital District Chapter, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in her memory.
