Lorraine C. Mann

Mann, Lorraine C. WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y. Lorraine C. Mann, 75, of Farrell Rd. died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at her residence. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Leona Chevalier Lessard. Lorraine resided in the Village of Schoharie for many years and was a volunteer with the Scho-Wright Ambulance Corps for 15 years. She also had resided for several years in North and South Carolina and was employed at the Hot Spot Casino in Surfside, S.C. while a resident there. She was a bingo enthusiast. She was mother of Kenneth Mann of Palm Bay, Fla., Michelle Mann of East Aurora, Claire Mann of Caledonia, Leona Montanye of Clifton Park and Suzanne Mann of West Henrietta. She was sister of Jean Gervasio of Troy, Aline Sturtevant of Halfmoon, Doris Gagnon of Cohoes, Lillian Langley of Palm Bay, Pamela Wheeler of Melbourne, Fla. and Frank Lessard of Clifton Park. Also surviving is an uncle, Leo Chevalier of Halfmoon; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses Hospice and Palliative Care, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.
