Louis Goldman. Obituary

Goldman, Louis K. NASSAU Louis Goldman, age 91, of Goldman Road in Nassau, N.Y. died Friday evening, February 1, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y. Mr. Goldman was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and resided most of his life in Nassau, N.Y. He was a man of many talents, his favorite being a pizza maker. He perfected his dough recipe and opened Lou- Beas Pizza on Central Avenue in Albany, where he and his wife Bea built up a thriving, friendly business. Lou loved his country home in Nassau where he and his wife raised their three children. In later years he loved to see father's bringing their sons, daughters and grandchildren to fish in his man made ponds on his beautiful property. He was an Army veteran and served during World War II. Mr.Goldman was also a member of Albany City Lodge # 540 Knights of Pythias in Albany He was married to Beatrice Goldman for 59 years until her passing in 2006. He was also predeceased by his son, Jeff Goldman. He is survived by his loving daughter, Leslie Gardner of Nassau, N.Y.; son Ken Goldman of Hollywood, Fla.; brother of Roy Goldman of Fla., Perry Goldman of East Greenbush, N.Y., and Sam Goldman of Albany. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Joe Goldman, Sylvia Goldstein, Max Goldman and Irv Dranow. Grandfather of Cory and Amberly Rundell and Aaron and Daniel Gardner. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue, Albany on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Hebrew Farmer's Cemetery in Guilderland, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nassau Synagogue or a charity of one's choice.

When my son was a little baby he went out with my father-nlaw to your parents farm,They took a picture of him holding a fish on a rod!
