Louisa Saunders Obituary

Saunders, Louisa SLINGERLANDS Louisa Saunders, 84, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2014 at Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck. She was born in Albany to the late George and Louisa Wilson. Louisa worked for many years with the Guilderland school district as a teaching assistant. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Arthur Saunders Jr.; her brother, Lt. George Wilson, and her sister, Elizabeth Sterling. Louisa is survived by her daughters, Suzanne (Michael) Lascoe of Guilderland and Nancy (Robert) McCann of Boxford, Mass. She is the cherished grandmother of Kristen Lascoe, Jessica (Michael Cunningham) Lascoe and Ryan McCann. She is also survived by her niece, Carole Von Dell. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in Louisa's memory. Louisa was such a wonderful woman! I so enjoyed working with her and have such wonderful memories. My family even ran into her in Maine on vacation-She so loved Ogunquit. Will keep you all in prayer.
