Marion "Hope" Borowsky

Borowsky, Marion "Hope" LOUDONVILLE Marion "Hope" Shippey Borowsky, 80, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany on June 28, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Agnes Warner Shippey. She was employed by J.C. Penney in Albany and later was employed by the NYS Department of Labor for many years before retiring in 1997. She was also a homemaker and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed bowling. She loved birds, especially cardinals. She was the wife of the late Stanley E. Borowsky; beloved mother of Mark E. (Sandi) Borowsky of Watervliet and Brian J. (Maureen Nicholson) Borowski of Loudonville; proud grandmother of Mark E. Borowsky of Watervliet; sister of Jacob Shippey of Schenectady, Audrey Pallone of Albany and the late Grace Leonard; also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet with Rev. Alfred Siegel officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call Friday prior to the service from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Circle of Life Camp, 5 Woodridge Court, Loudonville, NY 12211.
