Marion Kehn Obituary
GREEN ISLAND - Marion A. (Moore) Kehn, 89, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was born in Cohoes on January 7, 1935, the daughter of the late Wilbert Moore and Alice (Langdoc) Moore Demarest.
Marion resided in Green Island for most of her life before moving to Florida in 2001. She was employed as an inspector by the Bendix Corporation in Green Island for over 30 years before retiring in 1995.
She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph's Church in Green Island. She was involved in the Green Island American Legion, where she often cooked. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards with her family.
She was the wife of the late Frank J. Kehn, who died in 2018; loving mother of Bruce J. (Wendy) Kehn, Frances "Mickey" (Patrick) Simonds, Thomas M. Kehn and Frank J. (Rachel) Kehn, Jr.; dear sister of Betty (late William) Talham, Wilberta (Sarge) Marx and the late Theresa (late Jim) Wold. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating. Interment will follow in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers and due to cemetery restrictions, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, Va. 22116-7023 or diabetes.org.
