Mark Junco Obituary

Junco, Mark
VOORHEESVILLE - Mark A. Junco, 68, of Voorheesville, N.Y., unexpectedly passed away, on May 10, 2023, at his home. Mark graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in 1973. He was a self-employed general contractor and possessed a long life of experiences in all facets of the building trades, carpentry, concrete, electrical, plumbing, roofing, you name it, he could do it. He was equally skilled in the mechanics, repair and body work of anything on wheels. His family, friends and customers recognized his unique, creative and knowledgeable approach to design, problem solving and quality in all his work. He was outside in any kind of weather, enjoyed NASCAR racing for years and he loved Millstream, the Junco log cabin in Long Lake that he helped build with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Victoria (Vicki); his daughter, Kristin and her husband Anthony Buscema; and their sons Lorenzo, Luciano, and Vittorio; and his son Mason, his wife Kaitlin, and their daughter Madeline. He never met his granddaughter but his grandsons were a large, and getting larger every day, part of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Karen (John) Swint; in-laws he helped, worked and partied with; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kirk; and his parents, Manuel and Shirley Junco. Next time you have a PBR in your hand, raise your can to Mark.
