Marshall's wife Evie is my first cousin. Marshall's brother Lawrence married my mother's sister, Lois. A bit of trivia.

As a kid growing up in Albany, I often went with my father (who owned Sunshine Dairy) when he delivered milk. After he finished delivering milk, he would often go Beck's Florist where he picked up deliveries that he took to florists in Watervliet, Troy, Cohoes, etc.
One day while we were at Beck's Florist in downtown Albany, Marshall lit a fire cracker and left it near my father. Being no more than six or seven years of age and unfamiliar with fire works, I asked what was that? This alerted my father to the pratical joke that was about to unfold. Marsh's prank was foiled.
Another childhood memory involving Marsh happened at Burden Lake where his brother Lawrence lived. Marsh, Lawrence and someone else (can't remember who) were zipping around in a motor boat when they made too short a turn and the boat tipped. All three of them ended up in the lake. I'm not sure they found it funny, but everyone on shore (once we knew they were OK) laughed at their antics.
Marsh was a great guy and I know he will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Evy and the other members of his family.

My prayers are with all of the family members. I didn' know Marshall but I do know his son, Hal. I work at Questar III, the same organization that Hal works for.

Please accept my warmest sympathies-Paul always talked about what a nice man Marshall had been. He marveled at his bowling abilities!
