O'Connell, Mary
REXFORD - Mary O'Connell (Stack) of Hilton died on June 2, 2024, after a long struggle with dementia.
Mary was born on February 16, 1943, in Syracuse NY to the late T. Vincent and Marion (Nellis) Stack. She was a 1961 graduate of Most Holy Rosary Highschool.
Mary was a long-time inter-library loan clerk for the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library while residing in Rexford, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James; brother, Vincent; and sister, Barbara Stack. Mary is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Bridget (Russ) Norsworthy; and grandsons, Kyle and Jacob (Samantha Cornell). She is also survived by her sister, Irene (Patrick) Crosby; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours 4-6 p.m. Monday, June 10, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Lawrence Church
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Road, Rochester, N.Y. or to Pets Stop Here Inc., 5412 W. Ridge Road, Spencerport, 14559
