Fennell, Matthew G.
LITTLETON, Colo. - Matthew G. Fennell, 48, passed away on April 16, 2024. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Anita Fennell and William Fennell.
Graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany. Matt had a passion for helping people. Matt started his journey as a volunteer firefighter with the North Bethlehem Fire Department in Albany, N.Y. Soon after he completed the paramedic program at Hudson Valley Community College. Matt's career started with the Town of Guilderland EMS as a paramedic. A few years later Matt moved to Denver Colorado where he worked as a paramedic in the City of Denver. Matt was a proud member of the Denver all terrain medical team as well. Matt moved onto work for Evergreen Fire and Rescue where he finished his career. Matt had great friends throughout Colorado. We thank all his friends for the love and support that was given to our family throughout Matt's passing. Matt's passions were the Boston Red Sox, Hockey and enjoying the outdoors with his friends.
Matthew is survived by his siblings, Bill Fennell (Christine) and Anne Fennell. He was the uncle to Lauren and Kylee Fennell. Nephew to Margaret Fennell (Ed), Richard Fennell, James Purcell (Nancy) and many cousins.
