Matthew Sowalsky Obituary
CLIFTON PARK - Matthew J. Sowalsky, 56, died suddenly on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Michael J. Sowalsky Sr. and Ann C. (King) Sowalsky Miller and husband of Tricia Bariteau Sowalsky. Tank lived in the Capital District his entire life, most recently residing in Clifton Park.
He was a maintenance supervisor for Prime Companies in Cohoes for six years.
Tank enjoyed working on bikes and cars and was a brother to the Bad Moon Riders MC.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include his three children, Rebecca A. (Adam) Schrom of Troy, William M. (Stephanie) Sowalsky of Poestenkill, Ashley M. Sowalsky of Wynantskill; his stepchildren, Emily L. (Lonnie) Olivo and Jeremiah DeGiorgo both of Watervliet; six grandchildren and one on the way; his brothers, Michael J. (Patty) Sowalsky Jr. and Mark W. (Emily) Sowalsky; his best friend, Charlie (Karen) Ayotte; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy on Friday, April 28, from 4 - 6 p.m. with a service to follow at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Matthew J. Sowalsky to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY, 12110.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Matt was a great guy, I knew him when we were young kids. He and his family lived around the corner from me in Troy. We used to hang out all the time. We had some fun times. I moved away from the area and we didn´t see each other as much but later years as adults we would run into each other at Stewart´s usually when he was riding his motorcycle. I am sad to hear about his passing, my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
