I just found out today (2/5/03) about Maureen's death. I immediately thought of her daughter that she cherished so much. My heart is filled with sadness over her death. I will pray for her daughter and hope she will grow into a wonderful woman, just like her mother. She will be sadly missed.

I had the privilege of knowing Maureen when she worked at CDPHP. I got to know her around the time she adopted Taylor and my own daughter was born. Our daughters attended each other's birthday parties on a couple of occasions as well as had some play dates. Maureen was a very warm hearted and caring individual. I was shocked and saddened by the news of her death. My thoughts and prayers go out to Taylor and the rest of her family.

I recently got to know Maureen while working at MVP. Despite her busy and pressured work schedule, she was always smiling and positive. She just beamed when talking about her daughter, Tayler, to whom she was so devoted!
She was a wonderful and bright woman, and a great mother. This is a tremendous loss to all that knew her.

I was at the wake last evening and still in shock over Maureen's death. Maureen was a wonderful person and I will miss her friendship. We spent a lot of time discussing children and family. Anyone who knew Maureen, knew that she was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. If there is anything that I can do for the family, especially Tayler, please don't hesitate to call me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I can't begin to express the overwhelming sense of loss that I felt upon hearing of Maureen's death. I knew her through the support group Families with Children from Asia. Maureen was an incredibly dedicated mother to Taylor, who is the same age as my Chinese adopted daughter. We have all lost a wonderful woman, friend and loving mother.
