Maureen LaHaise

ALBANY Maureen Ellen LaHaise of Slingerlands, died Friday, January 17, 2003 at St. Peters Hospital of pneumonia. Maureen was born in Albany and lived in the area most of her life. She was a graduate of Green Mtn. College and Cornell University, and received a masters degree from Tufts University and an MBA from the University at Albany. She was employed by the MVP Health Plan in Schenectady. Maureen is survived by her daughter, Tayler LaHaise; her mother, Wanda Meleski LaHaise of Albany; her sister, Sharyn LaHaise of Stoneham, Mass.; her brother, William Woodrow (Woody) LaHaise of Delmar; her aunts, Jean and Sally Melesky and Florence Daniels; her nieces, Shayna LaHaise and Keely LaHaise; her nephew, William LaHaise III; and her dear friends, Fran Merritt, Patricia Bucklin and Eve Horbat. She was predeceased by her, father W. Woodrow LaHaise. Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Monday at 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 in St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home today from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be held privately in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
