Maureen Osborne Obituary
SCHENECTADY - Maureen A. Osborne, 69, of Schenectady passed away at home on December 17, 2023.
Born October 21, 1954 in Elmira, Maureen was the daughter of Richard and Alice Jean Kinnally. She was especially close to her mother and when she passed, Maureen, one of six Kinnally kids, assumed the role of family matriarch. She became Aunt Moe to everyone in the family, whether by blood or by choice.
She loved everyone, and that love was returned by all who enjoyed her gentle nature and hearty laugh. She enjoyed and participated in all family events, even braving water sports, reluctantly revealing that she was terrified of water over three feet deep. An accomplished cook, baker, avid gardener, and proud mom, she was truly an all-around beautiful person.
Maureen was the loving mother to Christopher Osborne (Sarah Van Horn), stepmom to Michael Osborne (Vicky), and loving sister to Michael Kinnally (Reva), Timothy Kinnally (Charlotte), Daniel Kinnally (Joanne), Susan Woodward (Doug), and Kevin Kinnally (Meg). She was also an adoring aunt to Jordan, Matt, Sean, Lindsey, Laura, Alicia, Kristen, Steven, Ryan, Erin, and Ross.
Friends may call Friday, December 22, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Most Holy Redeemer, Niskayuna.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen's name may be made to: Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, 12204.
