My sincere condolences, a little late. I just heard from John Hogan. Mrs Tacy was an absolutely lovely woman, very kind. Always asked how I was, how things were going, with genuine interest. She always brought a smile to my face. I am sorry for your loss.

One of the best teachers and nicest ladies that Christian Brothers Academy ever had the pleasure of being associated with. As a former student...I should know!

Dear Uncle Pete and all of Aunt Melba's family and friends - when someone like Melba touches you with her selflessness, her love, her smile, and her giggle - you feel special. You also learn that that's the epitome of being a human being. Her loss is devastating. At this difficult time, please find comfort in all the love coming your way - it's the love she gave being sent back to you and it's enormous.

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Tracy´s family and friends. Mrs. Tracy truly cared about her students. I was not performing well in her chemistry class so she called my parents and let them know I was not putting enough effort or time in learning what she was teaching. That was fixed by my having to go in for extra help for a period longer than I can remember. I believe I ended up with an "A" in her class. Mrs. Tacy was prouder of me than I was of myself. I do not remember much of chemistry but I never forgot the effort that Mrs. provided helping me learn and teaching me a life long lesson that hard work pays off.
Excellent teacher who truly cared about her students. My gratitude to her lasts some 43 years after CBA
