Dear Anson family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. We remember the fun loving and devoted husband and father Mike was through girls softball and father/son events Mike and Conor would participate in while our boys were friends through school. It was obvious Mike loved his family very much. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Mike,
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday and the days before that too.
We think of you in silence and we often speak your name
Now all we have is memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake with which we'll never part
God has you in his keeping
We have you in our heart
I know you will always have a watchful eye and a guiding hand for all who you knew
Guardian Angel who will watch over his loving family and friends
Sadly missed along lines way quietly remembered everyday
No longer in our life to share but in our hearts too stay
With God's speed fly high Mike Anson (Cuz)
Love,
Tom (Tommy) Elena, Marty, and Kids, Elise, Jim and boys, Becky, Colleen, and Thomas

Sue, Mikala, Connor, and Marc,
We had the pleasure of spending many days and years together with the boys sports teams. Sharing the same day care, elementary school, and middle school. Mike always had a smile on his face and was always fun to be around. You were truly one of a kind. You will be missed tremendously .
Fly high Mike and keep everyone safe.

Another Angel in heaven....Aunt Fran and Uncle Jerry and of course Boomer were at Heavens gates to meet you...I wonder if Aunt Fran had the spring training schedule ready for you so she could start watching some ball games with you....My favorite memories of you are when you would come visit us all up at Thompson's Lake....remember the story of when Chico caught fire....damn tikki torches....I remember being all of 6 or 7 and how proud everyone was when you graduated the academy. Being at Aunt Fran's house, I remember asking if you had arrested anyone yet? I was so impressed....and so proud because why wouldn't I be...everyone else was. Who knew I would one day become a police wife. See I didn't have to take the test afterall....I got all the benefits...at least when I turned 30 you stopped mentioning it to me....All those times I would see you in Brueggers...those are special memories....I really enjoyed those moments, Marc was just a baby...and I loved that Boomer was there too. But there are 2 memories of you that are extra special to me. When Donna died, I will never forget you busting through the door with breakfast for us. You hugged each of us oh so tight. That was just you...and this past spring you coming to Alex's Ball games with Marc....it was such a pleasant surprise and I know that my Dad especially enjoyed your company. I am going to miss running into you....Elise is too. We were talking and you were always an extra bonus when we were little and you would come by Aunt Frans and Uncle Jerry's....oh we just loved seeing you....and I don't think it was accidents that we would run into you often. Give Donna an extra big hug for us in Heaven, Boomer, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Fran too. Brueggers won't be the same without you....either with the NYSP. One of a kind....YOU ARE A HERO TO ME....Thank you for your service!
