He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the United Transportation Union and the Plum Brook Fish and Game. Ollie was a blues music, a wine and a fine dining connoisseur. Ollie also sadly leaves a world of friends that he has touched over the years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Assumption-St. Paul William Street Church, with burial in St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Dear Mike,

We made it through the holidays, although it was very sad. The picture of you in your Chef hat was right in front of the tree. We knew you were with us in spirit. All of us missed you so much, especially Jan. The anniversary of your death is coming upon us. Please watch over Janet and help her make it through it. She doesn't make her feelings known in writing but believe me, she loves you more than anything in this world. I love you too!

You ARE the best!

Love, Teresa

It's me again Mike. It's so lonely without you. We all miss you so much. The holidays are coming up and all we can think of is you won't be with us, in person anyway. I believe you are reading this as I type. Who will make the gravy for Thanksgiving?? You know you were the best gravy maker ever. I have a confession to make, my pie crust was Pillsbury's. I hope you aren't mad. Keep smiling, that is something we all remember very well. I love you so much! Jan, Steve, Mom, Elaine & Vinnie too.

Love,

Teresa

Hi Mike,

I miss you so much. It's really hard to enjoy things in life without you. You were always there for all of us and made our times together so much fun. No one could ever replace you or even come close. I bought a "Goofy" pen the other day. I had to, that was one of my nicknames you had for me (one of many)! Well, heaven has another angel, a very special one. Enjoy the time with our loved ones that have passed on and take care of them. Do not worry about Janet, we are taking good care of her just like you wanted. I love you Mike!

Dear Ollie

I think about you all the time along with Jess, OV, and Cloe. I miss all of you very much and love you all. Please watch over Jess for me, she is so young. Still don't understand why all this happened to all of us and probably never will but one thing you all can be sure of and that is we miss you all and love you all so much that it hurts all the time. Everyone says it will get better with time, I don't believe it. We all try and take care of each other but it is not the same as having all of you here with us with those laughing and smiling faces.

XOXOXO

Love You All

Johanna

I met Ollie in 1976 and I remember him as being a gentle soul. I would run into him at places even through the years and he would also smile, ask how I was and make pleasant converstaion. He will be missed by many, for his kindness and friendship.

May God Bless you all and I am so sorry for your loss.

Although I was a co-worker of Mike's for only a short while, His impression on me will last forever.(Especially since he was a fellow Yankees fan). A great person who will be missed by all who ever had the privelege of knowing him.
