Michelina LaPietra Obituary

TROY Michelina LaPietra, 64, of Troy and Port Orange, Fla., died suddenly on September 19, 2004. Born in the Province of Avellino, San Martino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Vittorio and Teresa Perotto Formato. Wife of the late Costantino LaPietra. She had been employed as a seamstress for Marshall Ray for 10 years. Michelina is survived by her two sons, Paul LaPietra and his wife Annette of N.M. and Vittorio LaPietra and his wife Donna of Troy; grandmother of Cassandra and Marc LaPietra, both of Ariz. and Mia LaPietra of Troy; sister of Gianna Piantadosi of San Martino, Italy; and aunt of Gianni Piantadosi of Naples. The funeral for Michelina will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy and at St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated.
