Mildred Satterlee Obituary

ATLANTA, Ga. Mildred Reynolds Satterlee, 96, of Atlanta, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Roswell, Ga. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Reynolds and Una Frederica (Gittelsen) Reynolds and wife of the late William B. Satterlee, former attorney and family court judge. She had resided in Troy, Daytona Beach and Atlanta and was educated in New York City. Mrs. Satterlee was a member and past president of the Troy Women's Club. She is survived by four sons, Thomas Satterlee and wife Randy of Atlanta, Ga., Richard Satterlee and wife Ruth Ann of Memphis, Tenn., W. Bryan Satterlee and wife Pat of Meredith, N.H. and Bruce Satterlee and wife Mandy of St. Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy with Rev. John McAuley, pastor of Third Presbyterian Church in Troy, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment, Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy. Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Satterlee to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
