Dearest Lee you know how special we all thought your Dad was and how much I enjoyed talking to him over these past 23 years at the library. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I can see Sylvia and Milt walking together catching up.

I loved his Elmer Fudd hats he would wear...always helpful, kind and loving. Mr. Kaplin loved his children Sam and Lee and missed his wife every day since her passing. He carried photographs of all in his wallet. He always returned a smile and was a good hugger. I will miss sharing a cup of Cold Stone hot coco with my very favorite sweet kind man. I will miss our long talks, I will miss seeing his cute Kaplin shuffle and I will never forget him. The world was a better place having him in it AND I was blessed to have known him.

To the family of Milton Kaplan,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful and unique individual. I did not have the privelage of knowing him long but he did make an impression - I was the receptionist at New Visions and he was such a pleasure to talk with - I would look forward to Board meetings just to have the pleasure of talking with him. I am so honored to have known him he was a wonderful person who will be deeply missed.

Milton was a wonderful example of life after retirement. I loved his participation in our NNORC Program and learned so much from him. He was a wonderful man.

My deepest condolences to Milton's family on the loss of your father. I knew Milton from our days at what is now known as the Office of Mental Health. More recently, I have had the pleasure of his company at the monthly lunches at the Beverwyck. He was a caring, kind and lovely man. He will be missed.
