Nathaniel Plue Obituary

Plue, Nathaniel P. "Nayt" ALTAMONT Nathaniel P. "Nayt" Plue, 33 years old, died on November 1, 2022. Born on November 1, 1989, in Albany, he was the son of Beth Seavey and the late Christopher Plue, who passed in 2019. Nayt is survived by his siblings, Crystal Plue (Justin Scarbrough), Nicholas Plue (Lisa Pirro), Zachary Plue, Lukas Plue (Aliza Sefcovic), Faith Seavey, Dimitri O'Hea, and Elaina Mariana; nephews and nieces, Jacoby Scarbrough, Aubriella Scarbrough, Christian Plue, Everleigh Scarbrough and Justin Scarbrough Jr.; grandmother, Kay Seavey; great-uncle, William Luft; Nayt's best friend who meant the world to him, Jarrett Trudeau and his wife, Heather Trudeau; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, George Seavey; grandparents, Joan Plue and Paul Plue; and great-grandmother, Dorothy Seavey. Nayt was a graduate of Guilderland High School, class of 2007, but walked in 2008 (as Nayt would say, he was a "Super Senior") and then attended HVCC for one year in the fine arts program. He was employed with Ted's Fish Fry and previously as a mechanic in training with Barry Gasparro, who became very close to Nayt. Nate loved to draw and was a phenomenal artist. He was learning to tattoo as he gave himself and some close friends tattoos. He was a Buffalo Bills fan and made it to several games over the years. His heart was as kind as they come and he was always the life of the party. He would say goodbye to his family and friends with a "big-ole smooch" on the head and never forgot to tell you how much he loved you. He would do anything for you; he was always smiling, no matter what. Nate struggled with depression and just wasn't able to understand or realize how many people loved him and what he meant to all of us. He struggled with alcohol and drugs over the years and after the recent loss of someone close in his life, Nayt was unable to go on and took his life. Nayt's family encourages anyone struggling to always know they can contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling 800-273-8255 or dialing or texting 988 from any phone. He will be sadly missed by all but he is out of pain now and leaves this world with so many people who loved him and whose lives he touched over the years. Just know that if you knew Nayt, he loved you with all his heart and soul. We will miss you Nayt, with all our love. R.I.P. Nayt, I love you with all my heart and soul and will miss you every day until I get to hold you again, Mom. My most Sincere condolences go out to "Nyat's" Mom Beth Seavey and all the family. I never knew him, but in reading the "Obit", wanted to send a prayer. O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of thy servant "Nyat" and grant him an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of thy saints; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

SAFELY HOME

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh, but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still,
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remains,
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come !
