May you forever continue to share treasured times together. (Do you remember that we worked together a number of years ago to break the barriers and logjams in the approval of desperately needed medical equipment for children and families? You sent me the incredible, inspirational pictoral collage with the thank yous from all of the children, including Nicole, which is still is among the most wonderful gestures ever extended to me.) To Nicole's Devoted Family:
I extend to you my most heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your beloved Nicole. She touched so many lives in her 19 years on this earth and the gifts she bestowed on each of us are too numerous to count and were, in most cases, not visible to the human eye but felt deeply in the heart. She will be sadly missed in our classroom and I will especially miss how her beautiful eyes squinted when she smiled. I will ask a merciful Lord to keep all of you in the palm of his hand in the coming days and to graciously extend to all of you peace of mind and heart.

Nicole was a beautiful girl who beat the odds in so many ways. I will always remember her smile! Deb and William rest assure that she is at peace and is among the angels smiling down at us!

To my brother Bill, and my sister in law Deb: your strength, devotion, love and will power amaze us. Nicole could not have better parents, and sisters. Nicole has a special place in all our hearts. She brought smiles and tears to so many, she is a "special child". I know she is smiling now, looking at her family, letting you all know she is at peace. She has given the gift of life now to others, others who will never have the opportunity to thank her but will love her and her family just the same. You all have so much to be proud of, not only Nicole, but the care, love and belief you all shared with each other. God Bless
