I had the pleasure of working with Normie the past 6 years at the VA hospital. She was a wonderful teacher ; very knowledgeable in her field and compassionate about her work . We had many laughs - and she had a wonderful laugh! Normie , we miss you dearly . Please keep sending us those signs so we know you are watching over us !

Jake and family-
Normie was such a positive and strong woman; though I have never spent that much time with her, the times I have, always left a great impression on me. She was my mother's co-worker in the lab at the VA. She and Jake would come over to our house with their famous eggrolls. The most recent time was when she came to my graduation party in June. The last time I saw her was in July at the Ellis hospital and I conversed with her. I am currently in college and am sorry I cannot be there to pay my respects. I will keep her and the family in my thoughts.

Dear Family
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful ,beautiful woman of God with the VA Stratton Toastmasters Club
That is where I had the joy of meeting Normita and loved how she could light up a room with her smile
She always had a life changing speech to share at our meetings about life, family, faith in God and even once shared with us her battle for life.
I am honored that she shared the wedding , family and travel photos with me as we grew to become friends.
Now I pray that all the memories of Normita will one day bring you joy, laughter and comfort instead of tears.
That your faith and family love strengthen you during this transition of life .
I am honored and blessed to have shared a moment in time with Normita and will treasure her in my heart.
God bless and keep you all in His hands

I am so sorry for the loss of Tita Normi. My mother called me up to tell me and was very emotional and sad that she wasn't able to say goodbye to her.
Although I never told her when she was here, it meant a lot to me that she (and Jake) took the time to visit me when I was sick and in the hospital.
May God bless your family and keep you all strong during this difficult time. There's no doubt in my mind that she is now happy, healthy and with her creator.
God bless ...
