Patrick Perkins Obituary
MECHANICVILLE - Patrick J. Perkins, 57, beloved son of Vernon and Anne Dunn Perkins, passed away at Saratoga Hospital, on January 21, 2025, after a series of recent medical issues. He was born in Albany, on March 15, 1967.
Patrick loved being a part of the day program at Saratoga Bridges for most of his life. He loved a good meal and enjoyed an after dinner treat of ice cream. He also enjoyed swimming in the family pool. Patrick, his parents, and brother, Daniel, wintered in Florida for over 15 years.
Patrick was predeceased by his father, Vern, in 2021.
Survivors include his loving siblings, Vernon "Joe" Perkins, Jr. (Julie Anderson), Colleen (Mike) Cambage, John "Jape" (Karen) Perkins, Kelli Alonzo (Dave Fusco), Michael Perkins, and Daniel Perkins; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Patrick's family wishes to offer their heartfelt thanks to Saratoga Bridges Day Program; Dr. Carl Sgambati and the staff at Saratoga Hospital I.C.U./Second Floor staff for the care, compassion and comfort given to Patrick through his life journey.
A Funeral Mass for all to attend will be held on Friday, January 24, at 9 a.m., at All Saints on the Hudson, 121 N. Main St., Mechanicville, N.Y. 12118, with interment to follow alongside his father at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Saratoga Bridges, 16 Saratoga Bridges Blvd., Ballston Spa, 12020, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Patrick J. Perkins.
