Paul D. "Bud" Hamilton GREEN ISLAND Paul D. "Bud" Hamilton, 60, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Born in Tewksbury, Mass, Bud was raised in Colonie and was a graduate of Colonie High School. He attended SUNY Albany and was proud of his service to his country in the U.S. Navy. Bud was also proud of achieving his CDL which allowed him drive trucks for Consolidated Freightways of Springfield, Mass., a job he truly loved. He was a member of the teamsters Union Local 294 and formerly of Local 404 in Springfield. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and was a Red Sox and football 49er's fan. Bud will be remembered as a people person who made friends easily, would give you the shirt off his back and loved to help others. He will be missed by those who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Harbour) Hamilton; his children, Katina McGuirk, Anthony Harbour, Allen McGuirk and Samantha Hamilton; his loving cousin, Mary Lou DeLoach and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Monday evening at 7 o'clock in the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Friends may call on Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. before the start of the service.
