Paul LaFleur Obituary

LaFleur, Paul Allen ALBANY Paul LaFleur, 48, a 30 year resident of Albany, died on Monday, July 1, 2013 from complications associated with diabetes. Paul was born on August 29, 1964 in Boston. He was a graduate of Acton/ Boxborough Regional High School and continued his studies at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I. He moved to the Albany area after college to pursue his real passion for buying and selling automobiles where he managed several dealerships. Most importantly, Paul left behind his most precious and treasured person, his son, Corbin. His love for Corbin could be seen proudly, as he watched his son playing his favorite sports, football and lacrosse. On Paul's birthday, he would take Corbin to Boston and watch a Red Sox game. He was a passionate father and will be greatly missed. Paul is survived by his parents, William J. LaFleur and Therese A. (Palardy) LaFleur; his son, Corbin and Corbin's mother, Barbara LaFleur and her daughter, Victoria Delsignore (Albany); his brother, Marc M. LaFleur and wife Amy (Pepperell, Mass.); his sister, Ella M. Silvestri and her two sons, Dan and Derek (Berlin, Mass.). A private viewing will be held for the immediate family. Contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 15 Tech Valley Dr, Suite 4, East Greenbush, NY 12061. Light a condolence candle at wjrockefeller.com

Looking back to all the great times we had when visting in Boxboro, MA. The great "Trip" to Maydock Ontario. How Paul and my brother Kenneth made a sleeping area in the pile of stacked wood in the back and slept there the whole week. Those were great times. There were many more after that and was always great to see and talk to Paul.

Today I heard I lost another good friend and colleague. It is impossible for me to express the grief I am feeling. Corbin always be proud of your father he was a good and strong man, I know because I challenged him to prove it and he did. Mr and Mrs LaFleur you raised a good god fearing son, only people who fear god don't fear anything else and Paul feared nothing hear on earth . He spoke well of you often to me, also of his brother and sister. Barbara and all of Paulsn family my deepest condolences. I will miss my friend.
