DELMAR After fighting his many demons for most of his young life, Paul S. Leonardo went to heaven to be with his beloved Nana on September 20, 2003. I was so sad to hear about Pauls passing. I held him as my closest friend growing up, and think about the fun we had as kids often. Though Paul and I had drifted apart in our adult lives, I thought of him all the time and missed him dearly - now I will miss him forever.

My condolences to the whole Leonardo family - I know he is at peace.

I always felt so lucky having grown up with the Leonardos. So much laughter and genuine caring. Carolyn wouldn't have had it any other way. Paul was so quiet and easy going. And so handsome. I wish I had known him as we grew older. I take a deep breath knowing Paul is at peace. Finally. He is looking down with that big smile knowing how much he was truly loved.

To the Leonardo Family:

My deepest condolences to you for your loss.

Although it has been several years since I have seen Paul, it seems like just days since I hugged him goodbye never knowing it would be the last time.

I have always loved Paul like a big brother. To this day, I still think of him quite often.

I am deeply saddened by this, as I am certain many others are. It is painful to let go but I know Paul has struggled with many things for a long long time. I hope he is now at peace with himself and that can finally love himself for the person he was. He was a wonderful person loved by many.

Paul was kind, generous, and, man oh man, he was funny! He brought many smiles to my face throughout the years. If your listening, thank you, Paul.

He will be missed by many. I will always remember Paul as the wonderful, funny, and caring person he always was. I love you, Paul!

I just heard the news today. My memories of Paul are plentiful. I was with Paul from 1986-1992. He was a huge part of my life. I am so sad to hear that his long struggle has ended this way. Paul helped everyone but himself. He will be remembered for his kind heart and quirky sense of humor. I hope he is at peace now. He will be missed.

He loved and respected his family very much.

Love from my family to Paul's.

The memories I have of Paul will always be with me. From when we were very young swimming at his house, to nights on the tracks and at Bullet Hill. Paul was always so kind and loving to his friends. Everytime that I saw him he always had that beautiful smile on his face. There will always be a special place in my heart for Paul. I will miss him very much.
