My heart is breaking to hear of Paul´s passing. He was a huge part of my childhood and always had a smile and gentle words whenever we would see each other ( which was never enough). He was one of the best!

Paul Mattice was one of the good guys! We fondly remember shared times as young adults, dancing on the edge of adulthood!! Gatherings at 210 Delaware, late nights and early mornings on "Avenue D", The Clippers, Pousette Dart Band, The Elbo Room, Tequila...the laughter and friendship remain alive and well in our hearts! Paul was an important part of our lives and had a place as a Best Man at our wedding!
We send hugs and prayers of comfort and peace to Karen and Loved Ones!
RIP Big Boy

I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a great man and always so kind. Too bad we didn't get to see more of each other. I hope you are all doing ok and please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
With love,

"Big", as he was affectionately called, shared so much with others. He would bring Allen and me fish fries that he had cooked. Backyard barbecues and pool parties always featured his culinary delights. A fun guy to be around, quick with quips and witty remarks, perceptive and smart. "S'cuse please," navy grog and "cake in a bowl" were shared jokes. Paul "got" it. His devotion to his family and friends was unmatched. You will be sorely missed in this world, but Earth's loss is heaven's gain.
