Gay, Kyle, Tara and family, I am sorry for your loss of Paul. I have so many fond memories of Paul. I don't remember first meeting Paul, the other McClaine kids, or first visiting the farm because I knew them and often visited the farm practically from the day I was born. However, I have many wonderful memories of working with Paul on the farm in the 1970s. I may have been an eager worker, but I didn't have the skills or strength that some of the other workers had. I often felt guilty that I wasn't doing my share of the work. I remember working side-by-side with Paul and many times Paul had to do extra work because I couldn't keep up the pace. But Paul never complained! Paul was the epitome of grace. He always gave me words of encouragement, and when the work was completed, we would tell a few old stories, talk about current events, or just share some laughs. I remember Paul being quiet and soft spoken, but his laugh and smile were so warm and infectious that he immediately put everyone at ease.
It seems like yesterday that Paul was hard at work digging his water well for his house, but it was half a century ago!
I recall that sometimes when I would arrive to work on the farm, Roger would greet me, saying, "Hello, cous, how are you tonight?" In that spirit, cousin Paul was a great neighbor, true friend, and a patient, kind, and gracious teacher. Because of Paul, I have very fond, lasting memories of my childhood. I feel truly blessed to have known Paul.

Worked with Paul @ NIMO when he was in the mail room and I was the mail "pony". Great guy. Very kind and a pleasure to work with. I'm sorry for your loss and may he rest in peace.
