Peter G. Haskell

Haskell, Peter G. SOUTH BETHLEHEM Peter G. Haskell, 60, passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side Saturday, September 30, 2017. Peter graduated from Columbia-Greene Community College and was mentioned in the Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges in 2004. He was also a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. He had worked for the former Powell-Minnock Brick Co. for 20 years, the former Blue Circle Cement Co., and was a welding instructor for both the Eastern Correction Facility and Orange-Ulster County BOCES. Peter was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. His greatest passions included painting, drawing and photography. Survivors include his mother, Alice Haskell; children, Carly (John) Glassbrenner, Jesse Jette and their mother, Lynda Powell and Nina Haskell and her mother Carmen Garcia; brothers, his twin, Michael (Diane Stanley Brown) Haskell and Reggie (Christine) Haskell; granddaughters, Haley and Morgan Glassbrenner; niece, Laura Haskell; and cousin, Gail VanKampen. Peter was predeceased by his father, John Haskell. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, at the South Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 67 Willowbrook Ave., South Bethlehem.
