Ralph Serino Obituary
CLIFTON PARK - Ralph L. Serino, 93, of Clifton Park, beloved husband for nearly 69 years to Marilyn V. Meleski Serino, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Born in Binghamton, N.Y., he was the son of the late Leonard and Carrie Perillo Serino and was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School and Harper College (currently SUNY Binghamton).
Mr. Serino was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation ROK AR 600-65 and his honorable discharge.
In 1964, Ralph began his career as an insurance agent with State Farm Insurance, which today is carried on by his son, Lee.
Ralph is the beloved husband to Marilyn, the devoted father of R. Lee (Joanne) Serino and Kathy (James) Duffy, cherished grandfather of Joseph Serino and Samantha Serino and was recently predeceased by his sister, Marie Bakay.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to noon, where at noon his funeral service will be celebrated at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park, N.Y. 12065.
Interment will follow with military honors in the Vischer Ferry Cemetery.
