Ratiba Ayad

Ayad, Ratiba SCHENECTADY Ratiba Ayad, 87, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at Ellis Hospital with her beloved family at her bedside. Born in Cairo, Egypt, she was the daughter of the late Mohamed and Amina Ayad. She had been an elementary principal for the department of education in Cairo, Egypt. She was predeceased by her dear husband, Zakaria Maray. She was the beloved mother of Zoser Mohamed, MD, Ima Mohamed, and Dora Mohamed; dear grandmother of Adham, Yasmin, Waleed, Hossam and Essam. Funeral services were held Friday at the Islamic Center of the Capital District and burial followed in the Islamic Cemetery, North Greenbush.
