Big Ray used to come in to Stewart´s with Doris when I was young and he would like to scare me ..as the years went on he would follow me to other places that I worked and we became good friends! I miss him dearly!

Hello
I am so sorry for your loss .I met Ray twice. The first time was with my mom Helen Giroux Roman. She told me we were related through an uncle but I don't know which one.One of my grandfathers (George)brothers. Ray made us laugh with his description of his new clothes for an upcoming wedding.
Another time I asked him where to bring scrap metal and he went with me to bring it.Very nice man.I think of him when I go through Cohoes.
God bless him and all your family.

I always enjoyed working with Ray. His sense of humor with that booming voice! After retirement he still supported me when I became the organizer and it was great to see him at the retiree meetings. RiP Brother.
