Giroux, Ray F. COHOES Ray F. Giroux, 77 of Cohoes, passed away at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He was born in Crescent and was the son of the late Jeremiah and Mary Wilson Giroux. He attended Shenendehowa High School. Ray was a sheet metal worker for Tougher Industries Enterprises in Clifton Park for many years. He was the husband of the late Doris Giroux. He is survived by his children, Catherine (Robert) Barron of Maplewood, Nancy (Joseph) LeBuis of Cohoes and Jason (Tiffany) Giroux of Delaware; grandchildren, Ashley (Jonathan) Althaus, Anthony Barron, Alex LeBuis (Lindsey), Meghan LeBuis (Bobby), Giana and Cruz Giroux; and great-grandson Nicholas Althaus. He was the brother of Gerald (Tina) Giroux and the late Marilyn, Geraldine, and John; and brother-in-law of Donald (Mary) Hebert and Frank (Mary) Hebert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia St., Cohoes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed inside and outside of the funeral home.
