He also played semi-pro football for the Uncle Sam team in Troy and the Albany Larkin Bombers. Dick received a free agent contract to play in the Canadian Football League as well. He succeeded his coach Art Cardi at Siena and took over as head football coach from 1972-1974. From 1978-1988, he was the head defensive coordinator for Bishop Maginn High School Football. To Marie, Matt and Michelle, I was so saddened to learn of Dick's passing. I have such fond memories of him from our grade school years at St. Pius. Everyone loved him then as many more loved him throughout his life. Dick was such a kind person with a hardy, infectious laugh. He was a friend to all he met. You and Dick were beautiful role models for Matt and Michelle and others as well. I'm sending you my sincerest sympathies and prayers to ease you sorrow and fill your hearts with many treasured memories.

Dick " Rabbit" Hallock
He was fast when he was young
That is a nickname someone gave to him

Cousin/Brother to me!
Super Athlete. Great Leader. Fun guy Loving Caring Person especially to his wonderful wife and children.
Someone you could always count on no matter what the circumstances.
Spent many years working playing sports and having fun together.
Never a cross word between us except for the time we sank our uncle's new boat in The Marina at Schroon Lake with beer and ladies on board. Kinda put a damper on our plans for the evening.
Dick enriched my life and the lives of so many others.
Dick please use your skills to persuade St Peter to let me in with you.
Love Always.
