How many great memories I have of Uncle Bobby. Always with a smile on his face and a guitar in his hands. All the Christmas Eves up at Grandmas and the special Avon gifts. Not sure if you know that Uncle Bob was my godfather, that goes to show how important my parents thought he was. My thoughts and prayers are still with you and my heart is still sad for his loss. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Corliss,
We just heard of Bob's passing this past weekend, as Britney sent our Geoffrey a note online. Our deepest sympathies to you and your family for your tremendous loss. Bob was a wonderful neighbor and friend to us up at Sacandaga. our memories of him will be taking Andrew out fishing (always looking for the Big One) when he was younger, bluegrass music with his friends, and riding the tractor around the lot. He will be missed not only for these things, but for his humble, down-to-earth way of treating everyone. He made the world a better place for everyone he came in contact with.
God bless you and the family.
Love,
Veronica Dick

Dear Corlis & Family,
I remeber the first time I met Bob. I was 15 & was shocked to find out that he was a fellow musician. IN addition to which, he was a master at his trade of drywall. Bob took the time to help me get started in the field & was patient enough to hang with me through the learning curve. I remember calling the house for Bob & Corlis saying " Bob it's your other son on the phone" & to be truthfull Bob was like the father I lost to death when I was 18. If I had a question, problem, or just wanted to talk Bob was always there to help. For this and so many other reasons, I was happy to have Corlis & Bob refer to me as part of the family, and I was equally sad to hear of his passing. Bob may your Kubotta in heaven always be full & and your memory will live on in our hearts.

Dearest Corliss, brother-in-law Joe and the whole family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Bob for his quiet smile and his love of playing guitar. He was hard working, and leaves a legacy of beauty in all things he touched, especially in his home and children. I hope your sorrow wanes in time and turns into sweet memories of your beloved Bob. Most sincerely, Lynne

Dear Corliss, Kelly, Stacey, Laura and Robert.
My most sincere condolences to you on the loss of a Great Man, Husband and Father. I learned a lot from this Genius. He was a Self made Engineer, Musician, and about the hardest working man I ever knew. Also he gave true meaning to the word "Neighbor". I will truly miss him. My heart goes out to Bobs entire family. He will be missed by all. And Thank you Bob for the 22 years of being a wonderful and helpful neighbor, also an inspiration for me to be a better person. You will always be truly missed.

My sincere condolences to Corliss and Bob's family at this time. It seems like only yesterday that Bob and I had a conversation at the Post Office. I knew him for many years as a hard worker known for his cheerful demeanor. He was a man dedicated to his wife and family. His passing is a great loss to all who knew him.
