Bob was a great friend to everyone who actually put "People First" (it wasn't just a slogan, he lived it). I will miss him.

I had the opportunity to serve in the NYS Assembly with Bob for all of his 10 years. He was passionate in the representation of his constituents and those who served our country in the military. He was truly a public servant who loved his community. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious. My sympathy to his family and loved ones.

KUDOS to our Devil Dog for many years of wonderful service. He was definitely someone who transcended party for the good of community. He will be sorely missed, but his memory will definitely be one that brings comfort and joy to those whose lives he touched. Semper Fidelis Brother!

The one thing I remember most about Bob is his Memorial Day speeches when he said it was the "dash" between the years of birth and death that mattered the most.....it was during the "dash" that we accomplished so much....Bob's "dash" was well spent....May be rest in peace. Condolences to the family.
