Ronald Dayter Obituary

Dayter, Ronald J. ALBANY Ronald J. Dayter, 70, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany, Ronald was the son of the late Watson W. and Margaret Mary Hosey Dayter. He was a self-employed painter. Ronald enjoyed his family, the outdoors, animals and was a fan of boxing. His hobbies were cooking, biking, and dancing. Ronald is survived by his lifelong companion, Rita Whitman of Troy; his loving daughter and son-in-law, Pam Whitman and James Schwing of Troy; his cherished grandchildren, Nicole Romero and Sarina and Kiana Schwing; his brother, James (Alice) Dayter of Berne; his sisters, Karin Dayter and Pam Taranto, both of Schenectady; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Joseph R. Guerrero Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Church, corner of Colby St. and Central Ave., Albany. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. A calling hour will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. on Friday. Friends Forever and I will always be there for you and yours. Ronnie was a beautiful person as a parent and friend who loved unconditionally and was very giving and loyal. Proud to have known him and been a part of his life.
