Rose B. Newell

WARREN, Ohio Rose B. Newell, 92, died Monday, April 10, 2006. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Esterina Bianchi Biagiotti. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Newell; dear mother of Ann Gilbert of Va., Dr. Mary Waller of Ohio and the late Richard Newell; sister of the late Lionel and Dante Biagiotti, Faith Casale, Anna Newell, Frances Arcuri and Mary Hoag; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services Holy Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to St. Theresa of Avila Church, Albany at 9:00 a.m. where, in observance of Holy Week, Liturgy of the Word will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 in the funeral home. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
