RAVENA - Rosemary transitioned to her heavenly life on March 3, 2023, with her loving children, Joe and Sheri, by her side.
She lived for her family, friends and "Jeopardy." Rosemary was a beautiful, kind and gentle soul whose vibrant smile would light up any room.
She was the cherished mother of Joseph (Colleen) Bonacci and Sheri (Mark) Forsyth; and the devoted grandmother and "MeMe" of Michael (Madeline) Bonacci, Alexander Forsyth, Matthew Bonacci and Kathleen Bonacci.
Born in Catskill to the late Charles and Bernice (McPartland) Foster, she leaves behind her loving sisters, Jacqueline (late Lou) Gugliara, Evelyn (late Tom) Brennan and Bernice McCabe; as well as her brothers, Dennis Foster and David Foster. "Aunt Rosemary" also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she treasured. She was predeceased by siblings, James McPartland, Jean (John) Petalas, Margaret (Allen) Finch, Kathleen (George) Litchko, Charles Foster and Sherry Foster.
Rosemary was dedicated to spending quality time with her family and attended all of her grandchildren's activities and events. She was so proud of their special talents and interests. She had a zest for learning and reading which was reflected in her knowledge of art as well as American, British and Irish history. She enjoyed traveling and was a talented artist, gifting her family with many paintings. She especially loved watching many shows on PBS and was a dedicated fan of "Downton Abbey" and of painter Bob Ross.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Hospice Inn of St. Peter's Hospital and to all of the medical professionals who have helped her, especially Dr. Anthony Cagino.
Services are planned for Friday, March 17, in St. Mary's Church, 80 Mansion St., Coxsackie. The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. with a mass to follow at 11 a.m.
