Sister Rosina Pondolfino R.S.M.

BAINBRIDGE Sister Rosina Pondolfino, RSM died Friday, June 18, 2004 at her home in Bainbridge, N.Y. Sister was a Sister of Mercy for 64 years. Sister spent her years of ministry in both education and outreach. After spending many years as a teacher at St. Patrick's and Sacred Heart, Watervliet, St Teresa's and St. Joseph's, Albany, St. Mary's Ballston Spa and St. Mary's Oneonta. Sister then did outreach ministry at Sacred Heart, Sidney and Delaware County Family and Community Services. The daughter of the late Anthony and Rosario Zagama Pondolfino. Sister is survived by her brother, Dr. Samuel Pondolfino of Calif. and many nieces and nephews, as well as her care giver, Susan Caracciolo-Pondolfino. Viewing hours will be on Monday, June 21, 2004 at Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main Street, Sidney, N.Y. from 5-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at St. John the Evangelist Church Bainbridge N.Y. at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be in Mount Calvary/St. Mary's Cemetery, Oneonta, N.Y.
