Sandra VanDyke Obituary

VanDyke, Sandra L. CLIFTON PARK Sandra L. VanDyke, 77 of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully October 20, 2021, at Albany Medical Center after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Day; her mother Margaret Dashiell; and two sisters, Annette Ouillette and Joan Sherwood. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Mazur (Robert), Valorie Day (Dennis), Heather Macie (Michael) and her beloved son, Ryan Day; also her grandchildren, Johnathan, Jayvona, Shannen, Kayla, Michael, Brandon, Aiden, Sam and Emma; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Sandra's family Tuesday, October 26, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, followed by her funeral service at 6 p.m. Please only enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot doorway. Unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask and practice social distancing. To leave a special message for the family please visit McveighFuneralHome.com
