Zdziebloski, Sheila A. EAST GREENBUSH Sheila A. Zdziebloski, 68, of East Greenbush died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at St. Peter's Hospice after a long battle with pulmonary hypertension. Sheila was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Earl and Kay Miller. She was an account clerk for NYAHSA for 17 years and then for N.Y.S. for several years before retiring. Sheila was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Miller. Sheila was the loving, caring wife of 50 years to John M. Zdziebloski; devoted mother to Kimberly A. (Stanley) Sokolowski and Tamra (Michael) Herron. Sheila was the cherished Bema to grandchildren, Christopher J. Sokolowski, Abigail Kate and Benjamin M. Herron. Sheila is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Sammon, Brenda Burl Davis; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to her calling hours Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer with a memorial service at 7 p.m. The family requests donations be made in her name to The Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.

Dear Family of Sheila, I want to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife, mom, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. I had the opportunity to meet her through the Sammon Family. I also did some house cleaning for her for a few months with a business I started. She and her husband were gracious and very kind. I don't know why I cleaned, her house was immaculate!!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this very difficult time. Try and hold on to the laughter, love and wonderful, precious memories and moments. Barbara and the entire family
I am so sorry for the loss of your sister, wife, mother friend. Sheila was a beautiful person with a great smile and a winning personality. She loved life and everyone in it. I remember all the fun we had when we were younger and innocent. God always takes the great one first. I want your family to know you were such a good friend. I worked with Sheila at NYAHSA from 1991-2002. We shared so many happy times. She struggled in the later years; but was such a fighter. I remember she met us for lunch one day; pulling up in her sporty convertible with the bright red seats. She looked beautiful...as she always did. She had a blue scarf concealing her breathing tube...you would never have known she was ill. Sheila was such a classy lady and will be missed by many! Rest in peace, my friend...

Sheila it's been a pleasure to have worked with you , to try and figure out life on our long walks at lunch, to visit you at your house to have our dunkin donut coffee together.
