Stanley Weintraub Obituary

Weintraub, Stanley Joseph LANTANA, Fla. Stanley J. Weintraub, age 89, died at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Born May 12, 1948, in Providence, R.I., to Raymond and Mollie Weintraub. He attended Hope High School and graduated from Bryant College in 1950. Stanley served in the Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and earning a World War II Victory Medal. On April 8, 1951, he married Harriet Mark. He lived in Albany and most recently Lantana. Stanley worked at Montgomery Ward as an accountant, then founded his own company called Tax and Business Service, until retiring. Stanley was a member of Temple Beth Emeth, served as president of the Albany Rotary Club, and a treasurer of the Poinciana Men's Club. Stanley will be especially remembered for being an incredible family man. He and Harriet had a love story for the ages. Survivors include his wife Harriet Weintraub of Lantana; sons, Alan Weintraub of North Attleboro, Mass., Michael Weintraub of Brookline, Mass., and Todd Weintraub of Robbinsville, N.J.; and grandchildren, Rachael, Rose, David and Michael. Services will be held at Congregation Beth Emeth , 100 Academy Road in Albany, on Sunday, November 5, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville.
