I was truly saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He was a friend to all during our high school years and beyond. I remember his love of horses and his quick smile. He will be greatly missed by all his former New Paltz High School classmates. My deepest sympathies to his entire family.

We will always consider Steve a part of the Lake George Class of '69 and I know I, as well as many others will really miss him at our next get together. I am thankful to have known him over the years and will remember him as a kind and caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. Sincerely, Karen

I was blessed to see Steve one more time at our 35 year class reunion last summer. We had a nice chat and talked about the good things the years had brought us. He was the same sweet caring person I remembered back in Jr. High. My prayers are with his family at this time of great loss. Sincerely, Dutchi

It appears Steve didn't change much from his undergraduate years at Plattsburgh State. I'll remember him as a profound thinker, doer and good friend. To his family, my deepest condolences. My prayers are with you at this time. ... jim
