Susan Dickinson Obituary

Dickinson, Susan MELROSE Susan Bull Dickinson, 53, of Pinewoods Road, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Samaritan Hospital, following a long illness. Born in Troy, February 18, 1955, daughter of Mary Lane (John) Hukck of Clifton Park and the late George Bull, she was a 1972 graduate of Hoosic Valley Central School. A programmer assistant with the Northeast Health Diabetes Center at Samaritan Hospital for a number of years, Susan also worked at the former Gardenway of Troy for years. She enjoyed shopping, sewing and crafts, was a huge Nascar racing fan, and was a member of both the Pleasantdale and Green Island Rod and Gun Clubs. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband of 36 years, Rickey D. Dickinson Sr.; her daughter, Diana Dickinson of Stillwater, and son, Rickey D. Dickinson Jr. of Mayfield; also her grandson, Rickey III; brothers, Dennis Bull of Calif. and Paul (Cherie) Bull of Mechanicville; along with a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m. A cremation burial service will be held on Monday, September 15 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghti-coke. Remembrances may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., Capital District Chapter, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12204, in loving memory of Susan Dickinson.

I just heard about Suzie passing away - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know that it has been many years since I have been your next door neighbor. Ricky,Janet and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family on your loss. I didn't know Sue very well but always enjoyed visiting with her at the lake when you brought her. She was a wonderful person. Just know her suffering is over and she is in a better place. She always put her family first.
