Theresa Maiello Obituary
MECHANICVILLE - Theresa A. Maiello, 71, also affectionately known as Teri, passed away suddenly on November 5, 2024. Born in Troy, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (James) Maiello. She was predeceased by her sister, Nancy Maiello; and longtime companion, Tom Overocker. Theresa graduated from Mechanicville High School in 1971 before going to work for New York State.
Theresa loved the outdoors, especially sitting in the sun, swimming or working in her yard. She enjoyed heavy metal rock music and attended many concerts over the years. She was always willing to help friends in need and people she just met.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Knych; brothers, Joseph (Linda) Maiello, James (Lisa) Maiello; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many dear friends; and her beloved cat, Beau. Many thanks to those friends who assisted her over the past several years.
Services will be held at a date to be determined.
