Thomas Wachunas Obituary

Wachunas, Thomas Walter BRADENTON, Fla. Thomas Walter Wachunas, age 69, of Bradenton, originally from Watervliet, the son of Laverne and the late Walter Wachunas, passed away on March 1, 2017. He was born on September 4, 1947, and is survived by brothers, Gary and Charles Wachunas (wife, Diane Wachunas) as well as several nieces and nephews. He attended Watervliet High School where he played for the high school football team. He worked at the Watervliet arsenal for several years and also served in the Navy. He was a member of the VFW and Moose Club in Bradenton. In his leisure time, he enjoyed baseball, fishing and billiards. His ashes will be spread in the ocean in Florida.
